after considering the wording of the question itself which I set in the last study task I began to consider, the basics of thought processes that go behind design. My investigation into the political sway of design and the way it is affected by graphics, allow me to gain an understanding of the way in which graphic designers are affected through the way in which a client can give a brief which doesn't particularly materialise; and therefore leaving a designer creating content which does not seem true, leaving their own practice hindered.
The basis of all of this is deciding whether or not to take on a project, this means considering the ethical value of your practice and whether or not you agree with what the work you are undertaking is putting out to the world.
Therefore my design question which I am aiming my research towards is whether or not your personal professional opinion should take precedence in the world of graphic design?
Therefore I will be looking at whether or not you should be leaving your ethics at the door and just completing work as a designer in an agency style, where a brief is completed without the considerations of your own beliefs. Or whether your personal opinion should take precedence in everything you do whether or not this is the choice.
