In order to get a contextual understanding of the content I would be planning I began to borrow books from the LAU library, in order to make sure I was looking at the correct books I searched 'consumerism', 'branding' and 'consumer culture'. I also searched these topics on Amazon books and used the online library resource to check if any of the books I found were available through the university. Although not all books will be used the information I can gather to have a greater overall understanding of the topic from these books will be important in developing an accurate, factually correct essay and practical outcome.
